Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Louvain-la-Neuve, head towards the main square, 'Place de l'Université'. From there, take the Rue des Wallons heading north. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Avenue du Préau. Turn left onto Avenue du Préau and walk straight until you reach the end of the street. Turn right onto Kapucijnenvoer, and the Botanical Garden will be on your left at number 30. The entire walk should take about 15-20 minutes.

  • Bus

    If you're near the 'Place de l'Université', walk to the nearest bus stop, which is 'Gare - Louvain-la-Neuve'. Take bus number 1 towards 'Leuven'. Get off at the stop 'Kapucijnenvoer'. From there, walk about 5 minutes back down Kapucijnenvoer towards number 30. The Botanical Garden will be on your left. This journey should take around 30 minutes including waiting time.

  • Bicycle

    If you have rented a bicycle, start from the central area in Louvain-la-Neuve. Head towards the Avenue des Combattants and follow it until it becomes Avenue du Préau. Once you reach the intersection with Kapucijnenvoer, turn left. Continue straight until you reach Kapucijnenvoer 30. The Botanical Garden will be on your left. The bike ride should take approximately 10 minutes.
