From Louvain-la-Neuve station, take the train to Braine-l'Alleud. The journey takes about 20 minutes. Make sure to check the train schedule for the next departure. Upon arrival at Braine-l'Alleud station, exit the station and head towards the main road.

After exiting Braine-l'Alleud station, turn left onto Rue de la Station. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Route du Lion. Turn right onto Route du Lion and follow the road for approximately 1.5 kilometers. The Waterloo Battlefield will be on your left at Rte du Lion 1815, 1420 Braine-l'Alleud.

Alternatively, from Braine-l'Alleud station, you can take a local bus (Bus Line 130) towards Waterloo. Get off at the stop 'Lion de Waterloo,' which is near the battlefield. The bus ride takes about 10 minutes. After getting off, follow the signs leading to the Waterloo Battlefield, which is just a short walk from the bus stop.
