Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from Luxembourg City, take the A1 motorway towards Trier. Continue on the A1 for about 25 kilometers until you reach the exit for the N13 towards Diekirch. Merge onto the N13 and follow it for approximately 15 kilometers. Once you reach the roundabout at Ettelbruck, take the second exit onto the N7 towards Kautenbach. After about 8 kilometers, turn left onto the D8 road, which leads you to Kaundorf. Follow the D8 for about 3 kilometers and look for signs directing you to Bunker 'an der Runschelt'. The last stretch may be a bit steep, so drive carefully. There is no parking fee at the bunker site.

  To reach Bunker 'an der Runschelt' using public transportation, start by taking a train from Luxembourg City to Ettelbruck. Trains run frequently, and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Ettelbruck station, exit and head to the bus terminal located right next to the train station. Board bus line 570 towards Kautenbach. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes, getting off at the 'Kaundorf, Bunker' stop. From there, it is a short walk to the bunker. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as service may be limited on weekends. A train ticket from Luxembourg City to Ettelbruck costs approximately €4.50, and the bus fare is around €2.00.
