If you are starting from the Mechelen train station, exit the station and head south on Korenmarkt. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the Brusselsesteenweg (N15). Cross the road and continue straight onto the Van Benedenlaan. Keep walking for about 10 minutes; you will see Brusselpoort on your left at Van Benedenlaan 4.
