From the city center of Mechelen, head north towards the Mechelen Railway Station. Once you reach the station, follow the signs to the train platform. Purchase a ticket for a train to Brussels Central Station. The train ride takes approximately 20 minutes. Upon arrival at Brussels Central Station, exit the station and follow the signs to 'Place Royale' (Pl. Royale), which is about a 15-minute walk. Head west on Rue de la Bourse, then turn left onto Rue des Colonies. Continue straight until you reach Place Royale.

From Mechelen, walk to the Mechelen Railway Station. Board a train towards Brussels Central Station. The journey takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Brussels Central Station, exit the station and take Metro Line 1 (direction: Stockel) for two stops to Parc station. From Parc, walk straight towards the park and then head towards Avenue de la Renaissance; continue walking straight until you reach Place Royale, which is just a few minutes away on foot.
