Walking
If you are in the city center of Namur, start at Place d'Armes, which is a central square surrounded by cafes and shops. From here, head southwest on Rue de Fer towards Rue des Carmes. Continue straight until you reach Rue de la Croix, and turn left. Follow Rue de la Croix until you reach the intersection with Rue de la Régence. Turn right onto Rue de la Régence and continue walking. This will lead you directly to the entrance of the Citadelle de Namur. The walk should take about 20-25 minutes.
Public Transport
From the Namur train station, take Bus Line 2 towards 'Belgrade'. Get off at the 'Citadelle' stop. The bus journey takes about 10-15 minutes. Once you get off, follow the signs to the entrance of the Citadelle de Namur, which is a short walk uphill from the bus stop.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many rental stations in Namur. Start from the city center and head towards the Meuse River. Follow the riverside path until you reach the Citadelle. The bike ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Be mindful of the slight incline as you approach the Citadelle.
