Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Namur train station, exit the station and head towards the main road (Avenue de la République). Turn left and walk straight until you reach the intersection with Rue de Fer. Continue on Rue de Fer until you reach the Place d'Armes. From there, take Rue de la Croix and follow it as it turns into Rue Merveilleuse. Continue straight until you arrive at the Citadelle de Namur, which is located at Rte Merveilleuse 64.

  • Public Transport

    From the Namur train station, you can take bus number 3 towards 'Cognelée' or bus number 5 towards 'Malonne'. Get off at the stop 'Citadelle'. From the bus stop, walk up the hill following the signs for Citadelle de Namur. The Citadel is a short walk from the bus stop and is well marked.
