Getting There

Walking
Start at Namur train station (Gare de Namur). Exit the station and head towards Rue de Fer. Turn left onto Rue de Fer and continue straight until you reach Place d'Armes. From there, head towards Rue de l'Evêché and continue to the Meuse River. Follow the riverbank walking path (Promenade des Combattants) heading north. Enjoy the scenic views of the river as you walk. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will reach the bridge Pont de Jambes. Cross this bridge to the other side of the river.

After crossing the bridge, continue straight onto Avenue de la Plante. Walk for about 500 meters until you reach Avenue du Général Joffre. Turn left onto Avenue du Général Joffre and follow it. This road will eventually lead you to Route des Forts. Continue straight on Route des Forts for approximately 1 kilometer until you see signage for Fort St. Heribert on your right.

From the Namur train station, take bus number 2 (direction Wépion) from the bus stop located near the station. The bus ride will take approximately 15 minutes.
