Walking
If you are in the center of Nieuwpoort, start at the Nieuwpoort Town Hall (Stadhuis) located at Marktplein 1. From there, head south on Marktstraat until you reach the intersection with Albert I laan. Turn left onto Albert I laan and continue straight for about 600 meters until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Koolhof wandelpad. Keep walking straight for approximately 400 meters, and you will find Koolhofput on your right. It is a nature preserve area, so look for the signs to guide you.

If you prefer to cycle, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Nieuwpoort. Start at the Nieuwpoort Town Hall and head south on Marktstraat. Turn left onto Albert I laan and follow the route mentioned above. The bike path along Albert I laan is well marked, and you can enjoy a pleasant ride to Koolhofput. Once you get to Koolhof wandelpad, look for the entrance to the nature preserve.

You can take a bus from the Nieuwpoort bus station. Look for a bus heading towards Oostende or Veurne. Get off at the stop 'Koolhofput' or the closest stop to Koolhof wandelpad.
