    Getting There

    Walking

    From the center of Nieuwpoort, head towards the 'Haven' (harbor) area. Walk along the main street, 'Nieuwpoort-Bad', towards the beach. When you reach the coast, continue walking north along the promenade. After about 20 minutes of walking, you will reach the 'Nieuport' railway station. From there, take a train to Bruges, which takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Bruges station, exit and walk straight down 'Katelijnestraat' for about 15 minutes until you reach 'Woensdagmarkt'.

    Bicycling

    Rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Nieuwpoort. Start at the 'Nieuwpoort-Bad' area and head towards the coastal bike path. Follow the signs for the bike route to Bruges. It will take you approximately 1 hour to bike to Bruges. Once you reach the city, park your bike in a designated bike parking area. From there, head towards the city center, following 'Katelijnestraat' which will lead you directly to 'Woensdagmarkt'.

    Public Transport

    From Nieuwpoort, walk to the nearest bus stop located on 'Oosteroever'. Take bus number 78 towards 'Brugge'. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Bruges, get off at the 'Brugge Markt' stop. From there, it’s a short walk of about 10 minutes. Head northeast on 'Markt', then turn left onto 'Katelijnestraat', and continue straight until you reach 'Woensdagmarkt'.
