For those using public transportation, take bus line 3 or 6 from the Ostend Train Station. The journey takes about 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Vuurtoren' stop. Oosterstrand is a short 5-minute walk from there. Simply head east along Vuurtorenweg, and you will see the beach area.
