Getting There

Train
From Ostend, head to the Ostend train station (Stationstraat 2, 8400 Ostend). Purchase a ticket to Bruges (Brugge). The train journey takes about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at Bruges train station, exit the station and walk towards the bus stop located just outside the station. Take bus number 6 or 16 towards 'Brugge Centrum'. After about 10 minutes, get off at 'Begijnhof' stop. The Beguinage Ten Wijngaerde is a short walk from the bus stop.

From Ostend, go to the main bus station located at Oosteroever (near the beach). Take the line 1 bus towards 'Brugge'. After approximately 30 minutes, you will arrive at 'Brugge' bus station. From there, transfer to bus number 6 or 16 towards 'Brugge Centrum'. Alight at 'Begijnhof' stop. The Beguinage Ten Wijngaerde is just a few minutes' walk from the bus stop.
