Train
From Ostend, head to the Ostend train station (Stationstraat 2, 8400 Ostend). Purchase a ticket to Bruges (Brugge). The train journey takes about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at Bruges train station, exit the station and walk towards the bus stop located just outside the station. Take bus number 6 or 16 towards 'Brugge Centrum'. After about 10 minutes, get off at 'Begijnhof' stop. The Beguinage Ten Wijngaerde is a short walk from the bus stop.

From Ostend, go to the main bus station located at Oosteroever (near the beach). Take the line 1 bus towards 'Brugge'. After approximately 30 minutes, you will arrive at 'Brugge' bus station. From there, transfer to bus number 6 or 16 towards 'Brugge Centrum'. Alight at 'Begijnhof' stop. The Beguinage Ten Wijngaerde is just a few minutes' walk from the bus stop.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Ostend. Head towards the coast and follow the bike paths along the seaside. The ride to Bruges is approximately 15 kilometers and will take about 45 minutes to an hour. Once you reach Bruges, follow the signs to the Beguinage Ten Wijngaerde, which is located at Begijnhof 30. Parking for bicycles is available nearby.

If you're feeling adventurous and want a longer stroll, you can walk to Bruges from Ostend. The distance is approximately 15 kilometers, which will take around 3-4 hours. Start from the Ostend beach area and head towards the N31 road. Follow the signs directing you to Bruges, and enjoy the scenic views along the way. Once you reach Bruges, navigate to Begijnhof 30 for the Beguinage Ten Wijngaerde.
