Bus
From Ostend, head to the Ostend Train Station (Station Oostende). Once there, take the train to Bruges (Brugge). The journey takes approximately 15-20 minutes. After arriving at Bruges Station, exit the platform and head towards the bus terminal adjacent to the station. Take bus number 6 or 16 towards 'Brugge Centrum'. Get off at the 'Markt' stop. From there, walk straight down the street until you reach Heilige-Geeststraat. The Mariabeeld is located at Heilige-Geeststraat 3, just a short walk from the bus stop.
Walking
If you prefer to explore Bruges on foot, after arriving at the Bruges train station, exit the station and take a left down the road leading to the city center. Follow the road for about 1 km until you reach the Markt square. Once at the Markt, continue straight until you reach the Heilige-Geeststraat. Turn right onto Heilige-Geeststraat and walk until you see the Mariabeeld at number 3.
Bicycle Rental
For a more leisurely approach, consider renting a bicycle at one of the bike rental shops near the Bruges train station. Once you have your bicycle, head towards the city center following the signs to the Markt. From there, cycle straight to Heilige-Geeststraat. The Mariabeeld is located at number 3, which is easily accessible by bike.
