Bus
From Ostend, head to the main bus station located at Oosteroever, which is easily accessible by foot or by local tram. Take bus number 3 towards Bruges. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Brugge, Station' stop. From there, walk about 15 minutes towards Sint-Salvatorskoorstraat. Follow the signs for the city center, passing by the train station and heading towards the Markt. Continue straight until you reach the cathedral at Sint-Salvatorskoorstraat 8.
Train
Walk to Ostend train station, which is centrally located and easy to find. Take a train heading to Bruges, which runs frequently and takes about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at Bruges train station, exit the station and walk towards the city center. Follow the signs for Sint-Salvatorskoorstraat, which is about a 20-minute walk from the train station. You can also ask for directions to the cathedral if needed.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local bike rental shops in Ostend. From the rental location, cycle towards Bruges via the coastal bike path. This scenic route will take you along the coast and through picturesque areas. The ride is approximately 13 kilometers and will take around 45 minutes to an hour, depending on your speed. Once in Bruges, follow the signs to the city center, and then to Sint-Salvatorskoorstraat 8.
Walking
If you prefer to walk, start from the center of Ostend and make your way towards the coastal promenade. Follow the coast until you reach the main road leading to Bruges. This is a longer journey, approximately 15 kilometers, and will take about 3 hours. Alternatively, if you're in a nearby area, consider walking to the nearest tram or bus stop to shorten the distance.
