    From the central square of Tournai, head towards the Tournai Cathedral (Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Tournai). Once you reach the cathedral, walk straight down the Rue de la République. Continue walking until you reach the junction with Rue de l'Industrie. Turn left onto Rue de l'Industrie and follow it until you reach the train station (Gare de Tournai). From the train station, you can take a train to Ypres. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes.

    Starting from the Grand Place in Tournai, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located on Rue de la République. Look for Bus Line 1 that goes towards Ypres (Ieper). The bus ride to Ypres will take around 45 minutes. Once you arrive at the Ypres bus station, you can walk to the city center and explore the area.
