    From Valkenburg, head northwest on the N590 towards the N78. After approximately 5 km, merge onto the N78 towards Maasmechelen. Continue on the N78 for about 20 km. Take the exit for Maasmechelen and follow the signs to National Park Hoge Kempen. The park entrance is located at 3630 Maasmechelen. Please note that parking fees may apply, so have some change ready or check for payment options at the parking area.

    From Valkenburg, take the Arriva bus number 57 towards Genk. The bus departs from the Valkenburg bus station. Stay on the bus for about 35 minutes until you reach the Maasmechelen stop.
