Walking
If you are starting from the Ypres Cloth Hall (In Flanders Fields Museum), exit the museum and head southeast on Sint-Jacobsstraat toward Grote Markt. Continue straight onto Menenstraat, which will lead you out of the city center. After about 1 km, you will reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Ieperstraat (N38). Continue walking for about 1.5 km, and you will see The War Horse Memorial on your left, located at 8908 Ypres.
Public Transport (Bus)
From the Ypres Market Square, walk to the bus stop called 'Ypres - Grote Markt'. Take bus number 1 towards 'Zonnebeke'. After around 10 minutes, get off at the 'Ypres - War Horse Memorial' stop. The memorial is a short walk from the bus stop, just across the road at 8908 Ypres.
