Walking
From the Ypres Market Square, head southeast towards the Menin Gate. Walk along the road for about 300 meters until you reach the Menin Gate Memorial. Continue past the memorial and take the first left onto the Rijselseweg. Follow this road for approximately 1 kilometer until you see a small sign for Ledwigepad on your right. Turn onto Ledwigepad and proceed for about 200 meters. The Francis Ledwidge Monument will be on your left side.
Bicycle
Start at the Ypres Market Square and rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops. Cycle southeast towards the Menin Gate, then continue straight on Rijselseweg. After about 1 kilometer, watch for the sign for Ledwigepad on your right. Turn onto Ledwigepad, and the monument will be located about 200 meters down on your left. This route is scenic and allows you to enjoy the surrounding landscapes.
Public Transport
From Ypres train station, take bus line 5 towards Ieper. Get off at the 'Ledwigepad' stop, which is the closest stop to the monument. After disembarking, walk back along Ledwigepad for approximately 200 meters. The Francis Ledwidge Monument will be on your left. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the latest timings.
