Car
To reach Barton Creek Cave Reserve by car, start in San Ignacio and head south on the George Price Highway. After about 15 miles, turn left onto the Mountain Pine Ridge Road. Continue for approximately 12 miles until you reach the turnoff for Barton Creek Cave Reserve. Follow the signs to the parking area and then proceed on foot or by canoe to the entrance of the cave.

If using public transportation, take a bus from San Ignacio to the town of Georgeville. From Georgeville, you can hire a taxi or arrange for a tour guide to take you to Barton Creek Cave Reserve. The tour guide will provide transportation to the entrance of the cave, either by foot or by canoe.
