From Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary, take the Southern Highway (Hummingbird Highway) heading north. This scenic drive will take approximately 2 hours. Continue on the highway until you reach the junction for the Coastal Highway. Take a right turn onto the Coastal Highway and follow the signs towards San Pedro. Once you reach the ferry terminal at the coast, park your car in the designated parking area. Note that parking fees may apply, typically around $10 BZD per day. Take the ferry to San Pedro, which takes about 30 minutes. Upon arrival at San Pedro, head south on Barrier Reef Drive. Hol Chan Marine Reserve is located at 2 Barrier Reef Drive.

To use public transportation, start by taking a bus from Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary to Belmopan. From Belmopan, catch a bus to San Pedro. The bus ride to San Pedro will take approximately 4-5 hours, depending on stops. Once you arrive in San Pedro, you can take a taxi or walk to Barrier Reef Drive. Hol Chan Marine Reserve is located at 2 Barrier Reef Drive, just a short distance from the bus terminal in San Pedro.
