Car
If you have access to a car, start your journey from the center of Crooked Tree Wildlife Sanctuary. Head south on the main road towards the village exit. Continue driving for about 6 miles until you reach the junction at the entrance of the village of Middlesex. Turn left at the junction. Drive for approximately 2 miles, and you will see a sign for Davis Falls. Follow this road until you reach the parking area near the falls. Please note that the roads can be bumpy, so a four-wheel-drive vehicle is recommended.
Public Transportation
To reach Davis Falls using public transportation, first take a local bus from Crooked Tree to the nearest larger town, which is Orange Walk. This bus ride will cost around $2 BZD. Once you arrive in Orange Walk, you will need to find a taxi or another bus heading towards Middlesex. Taxi fares can vary, but expect to pay around $30 BZD for a ride to the falls. Inform the driver that you want to go to Davis Falls, and they will drop you off at the designated entry point.
Walking
If you're feeling adventurous and are staying close to the falls, you can also walk. From the center of Crooked Tree, head south towards the main road. Once you reach the junction at Middlesex, follow the signs to Davis Falls. The walk is approximately 8 miles and can take around 2.5 to 3 hours, depending on your pace. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry plenty of water, as the area can be hot and humid.
