Walking
If you are staying in central Dangriga, start your journey by heading south towards the Hummingbird Highway. Walk down Main Street until you reach the junction with the Hummingbird Highway (approximately a 15-minute walk). Once you reach the highway, turn left (east) and continue walking along the Hummingbird Highway. The Gulisi Garifuna Museum is located about 1.5 kilometers down the highway on your left. Keep an eye out for the museum's sign, and you should see it clearly marked. The entire walk will take around 25-30 minutes.

For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from a local shop in Dangriga. Once you have your bike, head south on Main Street towards the Hummingbird Highway. At the junction, turn left onto the highway. You will pedal along the highway for about 1.5 kilometers. The museum will be on your left side. This ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes depending on your speed.

To reach the Gulisi Garifuna Museum by local transport, find a bus or minivan heading towards the Hummingbird Highway. These typically leave from the bus terminal in central Dangriga.
