From the entrance of the Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve, drive south on the main road. Continue for approximately 10 miles until you reach the junction with the El Progresso Road. Turn left onto El Progresso Road and continue for about 7 miles. Look for signage indicating Mike's Place, which will be on your right at 7 Mile El Progresso Road, Barton Creek. There is no entry fee for the reserve itself, but ensure your vehicle is in good condition for the unpaved roads.

If you are using public transportation, start by taking a bus from San Ignacio towards Belmopan. Request to be dropped off at the junction with El Progresso Road. From there, you can either wait for a passing taxi or walk approximately 7 miles down El Progresso Road to reach Mike's Place.
