If you are driving from the center of Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve, start by heading southeast on the main road toward the junction for the Hummingbird Highway. The drive is approximately 45 minutes. Once you reach the junction, take a left onto the Hummingbird Highway (Southern Highway) and continue for about 25 kilometers until you reach the Spanish Water Hole area. Look for the signs leading to Vaca Forest Reserve. The final stretch will be on a dirt road; drive carefully as it may be bumpy.
