From the main square in Orange Walk Town, head south on Queen Street until you reach the intersection with the Phillip Goldson Highway. Turn left onto the highway and continue walking until you reach the bus terminal. At the terminal, look for a bus heading towards Chetumal. Once on the bus, inform the driver that you wish to visit the Zona Arqueológica de Kohunlich. The bus will take you along the Carretera Federal 186. Keep an eye out for the archaeological site signs as you approach. The site is located on the right side of the highway. Once you arrive, you may need to walk a short distance from the bus stop to the entrance.

If you have rented a bicycle in Orange Walk Town, start from the central park and pedal south on Queen Street. After about 10 minutes, you will reach the Phillip Goldson Highway. Turn left onto the highway and continue cycling until you find the bus terminal. From there, you can catch a bus towards Chetumal. Once on the bus, ask the driver to drop you off at Zona Arqueológica de Kohunlich. After disembarking, you’ll have a short walk to the entrance of the site.
