Foot
From San Ignacio Town, walk towards the main bus terminal located near the center of town. Once there, look for a bus heading to 'Mountain Pine Ridge' or 'Blancaneaux'. The journey will take about 30-40 minutes. Inform the bus driver you want to get off at the stop for Big Rock Falls. After approximately 30 minutes, the bus will drop you off near a sign for the falls. From there, follow the walking path which is marked. It's approximately a 15-20 minute walk through the jungle to reach the falls. Be sure to wear sturdy shoes and bring water.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike in San Ignacio. Head out of town on the Western Highway (Hummingbird Highway), and follow the directional signs towards Mountain Pine Ridge. The ride is about 12 km and will take around 1-2 hours depending on your pace. Once you reach the sign for Big Rock Falls, park your bike in a safe spot and walk the remaining 15-20 minutes on the marked trail to the falls.
