Getting there

Water Taxi

To reach Secret Beach from the main town of San Pedro, head to the water taxi terminal located on the waterfront near the central park. Look for signs that lead to the water taxis going to 'Secret Beach'. Once you find the correct water taxi, buy your ticket, which typically costs around $15 BZD. The ride takes about 20-30 minutes. Enjoy the views as you travel over the beautiful waters of Ambergris Caye. Once you arrive at the dock near Secret Beach, you will see signs directing you to the beach area.

Bicycle

If you'd prefer to cycle, you can rent a bike from one of the many rental shops in San Pedro. Once you have your bike, head northwest on Barrier Reef Drive (the main road along the coast). Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Ambergris Street. Turn left onto Ambergris Street and follow it until you see signs for Secret Beach. The ride will take roughly 30-40 minutes, and you will pass through some beautiful scenery along the way.

Golf Cart Rental

Another popular way to get to Secret Beach is by renting a golf cart, which is an easy and fun option. Look for rental places in the town center. After renting a golf cart, head northwest on Barrier Reef Drive. When you reach the intersection with Ambergris Street, turn left. Follow Ambergris Street, and you will soon see signs pointing you toward Secret Beach. The drive will take about 25-30 minutes. Make sure to watch for potholes and other vehicles on the road.
