If you are traveling by car from Punta Gorda, take the Southern Highway (Hummingbird Highway) northbound. After approximately 30 minutes, you will see a sign for the Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary on your left. Turn left onto the access road leading to the reserve. Follow the road for about 10 minutes until you reach the entrance of Cockscomb Basin Nature Reserve, located at QGCG+W9P, Locust Bank. Be prepared to pay an entrance fee, which is usually around $10 BZD per person.

To reach Cockscomb Basin Nature Reserve from Punta Gorda via public transportation, start by taking a bus from the Punta Gorda bus terminal heading towards Belize City. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the junction for Cockscomb Basin. The bus ride will take about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the junction, you will need to hire a taxi or a local driver to take you the remaining 10 minutes to the reserve entrance. Expect to pay around $10-15 BZD for the taxi ride.
