From any location within Toledo District, head towards the town of Punta Gorda. If you are starting from the main town of Punta Gorda, take the Southern Highway (also known as the Hummingbird Highway) heading south towards Monkey River. The drive is approximately 20 minutes. Once you reach the junction towards Monkey River (there will be a signpost), turn left onto a dirt road. Continue on this road for about 10 minutes until you reach the village of Monkey River. Parking is available near the river.
