Drive towards the town of Placencia, which is approximately 30 miles (48 km) from the nearest major town, Punta Gorda. After about 30-35 minutes of driving, you will reach a fork; take the left onto the Placencia Road. Continue driving straight until you reach the village of Placencia. Look for signs directing you to Paddle Placencia, which is located near the beach area.

    From Punta Gorda Town, you can take a bus heading to Placencia. Buses leave frequently from the main bus terminal in Punta Gorda. The journey will take about 1 hour. Once you arrive in Placencia, ask the bus driver to drop you at the Placencia Village entrance.
