Car
If you are driving from Punta Gorda, head northwest on the Southern Highway (Hwy 1). Continue on the highway for approximately 14 miles (22.5 km) until you reach the junction for the San Antonio Road. Turn left onto San Antonio Road and follow it for about 4 miles (6.4 km). The road will lead you directly into the village of San Antonio. As you enter the village, look for signs directing you to the San Antonio Waterfalls. You may need to ask locals for the exact location as the falls are a short hike from the main road.
Public Transportation
From Punta Gorda, take a bus heading towards San Antonio. Buses leave from the main bus terminal and the fare is typically around BZD 3 to BZD 5 (approximately USD 1.50 to USD 2.50). The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the San Antonio village, ask the driver to drop you off near the village center. From there, you can walk to the falls, which is about a 20-30 minute hike. Follow the signs or ask locals for directions. Make sure to wear appropriate footwear as the path may be uneven.
Guided Tour
Consider joining a guided tour that includes transportation from Punta Gorda to San Antonio Waterfalls. Many local tourism companies offer packages that typically cost between BZD 50 and BZD 100 (USD 25 to USD 50), which often include a guide, transport, and sometimes a meal. This option provides you with a knowledgeable guide who can share information about the area and ensure you reach the waterfalls safely.
