    If you are driving from Cotonou, head east on Boulevard de la République. Continue straight for about 30 km until you reach the town of Abomey-Calavi. From Abomey-Calavi, take the Route Nationale 2 towards Ouidah. After approximately 20 km, you will see signs for Lake Aheme. Follow the signs and turn onto the dirt road leading towards the lake. Parking is available near the entrance.

    To reach Lake Aheme using public transportation, start from Cotonou's main bus station (Gare Routière). Look for a bus heading towards Ouidah. The fare is around 500 CFA francs.
