If you are starting from the Cotonou Central Market (Marché Dantokpa), exit the market and head south towards Avenue Jean-Paul II. Walk along Avenue Jean-Paul II for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Rue de la République. Turn left onto Rue de la République and continue walking for another 500 meters. You will then reach a roundabout; take the second exit onto Boulevard de la République. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you arrive at Corniche de Cotonou. The scenic coastline will be on your right.

Bicycle
Starting from the Cotonou Cathedral, head north on Avenue de la Victoire. Continue straight for about 2 kilometers until you reach Boulevard de la République. Turn right onto Boulevard de la République and ride for approximately 1 kilometer. Look for signs directing you to Corniche de Cotonou, which is located on the coastline. Enjoy the views as you ride along!

From the Cotonou train station (Gare de Cotonou), take a local bus heading towards the city center. Get off at the stop near the Cotonou Central Market (Marché Dantokpa). From there, follow the walking directions provided above to reach Corniche de Cotonou. Alternatively, you can take a taxi-brousse (shared taxi) from the market to the Corniche area.
