If you are starting from the Cotonou Central Market (Marché Dantokpa), exit the market and head east on Rue 390. Walk straight for about 15 minutes, passing by local shops and eateries. You will know you are close when you see the large monument ahead. Place des Martyrs will be on your left as you approach the intersection.
