If you are in the central area of Cotonou, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops. Start by heading south toward Avenue Jean-Paul II. Continue straight until you reach Avenue de la Marina, then take a right turn. Follow this road until you see the Lagoon on your left. The ride should take about 20-30 minutes, depending on your speed.

From the central market (Marché Dantokpa), head south on Avenue de la Marina. Keep walking straight for about 3 kilometers. You will pass several local shops and eateries along the way. Once you reach the lagoon area, you will start to see scenic views of Lagune de Cotonou on your left. This walk may take approximately 40-50 minutes.
