If you are starting from the Ouidah Beach area, head east along the main beach road (Avenue de la Plage) until you reach the intersection with Rue de la Liberté. Turn left onto Rue de la Liberté and continue walking until you reach the main road, Rte des Esclaves. Turn right onto Rte des Esclaves and walk straight for about 1 km. You will see the Ouidah Museum of History (Portuguese Fort) on your left.

From the Ouidah Central Market, exit the market and head south on Avenue de la République. Continue until you reach the intersection with Rte des Esclaves. Turn left onto Rte des Esclaves and walk for approximately 600 meters. The museum will be on your right side.
