Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Ouidah central market (Marché d'Ouidah), head south on Avenue de la Révolution towards Rue de l'Indépendance. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Avenue de la Liberté. Turn left onto Avenue de la Liberté and walk for another 300 meters. You will see a sign for Maison Accrombessi on your right. Enter through the gate to find Ouidah visite-tourisme.

    If you have rented a bicycle, start from the Ouidah beach area. Ride north along the coastline until you reach Avenue de la Liberté. Turn left and continue on Avenue de la Liberté for about 1 kilometer. Look for Maison Accrombessi on your left, just before the intersection with Rue de l'Indépendance. Park your bike and walk through the gate to arrive at Ouidah visite-tourisme.

    Find a shared taxi (also known as 'bush taxi') at any popular junction in Ouidah. Inform the driver that you want to go to Maison Accrombessi. The fare is usually around 200-300 CFA.
