From Pendjari National Park, head south towards the city of Natitingou. Follow the signs for Route Nationale 1, which will take you through the beautiful landscapes of Benin. Continue on Route Nationale 1 for approximately 140 km until you reach the junction leading to the town of Djougou. Turn right at the junction and follow the signs for Djougou. After reaching Djougou, continue east on Route Nationale 6 for about 200 km until you arrive at the border crossing into Niger. Ensure that you have your passport and any necessary visas ready for inspection.

From Pendjari National Park, take a taxi-brousse (shared taxi) to the nearest town, which is Natitingou. This ride typically costs around 1,500 CFA francs. Once in Natitingou, you can find another taxi-brousse that heads to Djougou. The fare from Natitingou to Djougou is approximately 2,000 CFA francs. After arriving in Djougou, look for a taxi-brousse heading to the Niger border. Once you cross the border, you may need to take a motorcycle taxi (also known as an 'okada') to reach Parque nacional W de Níger, which is located approximately 10 km from the border.
