Walking
From the central market in Porto-Novo (Marché Dantokpa), head southeast on Avenue des Martyrs. Continue straight for about 1km until you reach the roundabout ('Carrefour de la Liberté'). Take the first exit onto Rue de la République. Follow this road for approximately 500 meters until you see the sign for Porto on your left. The destination should be a short walk from there.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from a local shop near the central market. Start from the market and cycle southeast along Avenue des Martyrs for about 1km. At the roundabout ('Carrefour de la Liberté'), take the first exit onto Rue de la République. Continue cycling for about 500 meters, and you'll see the sign for Porto on your left. The area is bike-friendly, and you can park your bike near the entrance.
Motorcycle Taxi (Zémidjan)
Find a motorcycle taxi (Zémidjan) near the central market. Tell the driver you want to go to Porto. They will take you along Avenue des Martyrs towards the roundabout ('Carrefour de la Liberté'). After about 5 minutes, they will drop you off on Rue de la République. Walk about 500 meters, and look for the sign for Porto on your left. Make sure to negotiate the fare before starting your journey.
Public Transport (Bus)
Head to the nearest bus stop from the central market. Look for a bus that goes towards the city center.
