The stay over 2 days in a Homestay, the trek and arrival on the Tiger’s Nest from the top, and lunches at various people’s home are among the numerous highlights from our trip. Our guide, Tashi, was very knowledgeable and always keen and enthusiastic to share his knowledge and passion. And our driver, Kinley, was very safe and very considerate and adding a personal touch through his musical talents. We really appreciated the depth, authenticity and richness of the experience we were able to have within 12 days and are leaving with some beautiful memories and friends that will stay for ever.

Our guide Pema and driver Gelson were a big part of the enjoyment of the trip and us feeling safe and well-looked after. The accommodations and restaurants chosen for us were authentic and interesting. Bhutan is well worth the trip with its intact culture from hundreds of years ago, natural beauty of mountains and rivers and forests. And very interesting history. You need to prepare to be at high altitudes. We would love to come back again and bring some family or friends.
