Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Jakar, the main town in Bumthang Valley. Head south on the main road towards the Jakar Dzong. After passing the dzong, continue on the road for approximately 2 kilometers until you see a sign on your left indicating Choedrak ཆོས་བྲག།. Turn left onto the dirt road and follow it for another 1 kilometer. The temple will be on your right. Ensure you have a vehicle suitable for rougher terrain.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a local bus heading towards Jakar from your location in Bumthang Valley. Once you arrive at Jakar, you can hire a taxi to take you to Choedrak ཆོས་བྲག། for around 300-500 BTN depending on negotiation. The taxi will take you to the same dirt road leading to the temple. Be sure to agree on a pickup time as taxis may not always be readily available.

If you prefer to walk and are staying in Jakar, it's about a 3-kilometer walk to Choedrak ཆོས་བྲག།.
