Walking
From the center of Bumthang, head towards Jakar Dzong, which is a prominent landmark. Follow the road north of the dzong, passing the local market on your left. Continue straight on this path for about 2 kilometers until you reach a fork in the road. Take the left fork towards the village of Chumey. As you walk through Chumey, ask locals for directions to Bubja Waterfall, as they will have accurate information. Proceed through Chumey for another 1.5 kilometers until you see a small trail leading into the forest on your right. Follow this trail, which will gradually ascend. After walking for about 30 minutes on this trail, you will hear the sound of water. Continue on this path, and you will eventually arrive at Bubja Waterfall.
