If you are driving, start from Chhukha District town center. Head southeast on the main road towards Thimphu. Continue for about 12 kilometers until you reach the junction for Motithang. Turn left and follow the signs to the Royal Takin Preserve. The entrance is clearly marked, and parking is available on-site. The drive should take approximately 30 minutes, depending on traffic.

To reach the Royal Takin Preserve using public transportation, first take a local bus or shared taxi from Chhukha District town center to Thimphu. The fare is typically around 50 Ngultrum (BTN).
