Getting there

Car

If you are traveling by car, start your journey from the center of Chhukha district. Head towards the main road leading to Phuentsholing. After approximately 15 kilometers, look for the sign indicating the Bubja village turn-off on your right. Follow this road for about 5 kilometers until you reach Bubja village. From there, you may need to ask locals for directions to the waterfall, which is a short hike away from the village.

Public Transportation

To reach Bubja Waterfall via public transportation, take a local bus or shared taxi from Chhukha to Phuentsholing. Inform the driver that you would like to stop at Bubja village. The fare is generally around 50-100 Ngultrum. Once you arrive at Bubja village, you will need to walk approximately 1 kilometer to reach the waterfall. Follow the path towards the hills, and locals will be able to guide you if needed.

Hiking

After reaching Bubja village by car or public transport, prepare for a short hike to Bubja Waterfall. The trail begins at the edge of the village and is marked with stone paths. It should take about 30 minutes to hike to the waterfall. Ensure you wear comfortable shoes and carry water, as the path can be steep and uneven.
