Car
From the center of Dagana District, head northwest on the main road towards the Phuntsholing - Thimphu Highway (NH 5). It is roughly a 1 to 1.5-hour drive, depending on traffic and road conditions. Once you are on the Phuntsholing - Thimphu Highway, keep an eye out for a small pull-off area on the right side of the road, marked by a sign indicating the Roadside Waterfall. There is generally no parking fee, but please ensure you park safely to avoid disrupting traffic.
Public Transportation
You can take a local bus or shared taxi from Dagana to Thimphu. Buses typically leave from the main bus station in Dagana. After arriving at Thimphu, transfer to a bus heading towards Phuntsholing. Inform the driver or conductor that you want to stop at the Roadside Waterfall; they will drop you off at the nearest point. The total travel time may take around 3-4 hours, and the cost could be around 100-200 BTN for the bus ride, depending on the distance.
