Once you reach Punakha, you will need to find a local bus or taxi that goes to Karshong Village. The taxi ride will take about 30 minutes. Once in Karshong, ask locals for directions to Jakarlung Valley, which is approximately 5 kilometers from the village. Be prepared for a small fee if you choose to hire a local guide for the last stretch.
