Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the town of Lhuntse. Take the road heading towards the east, following the signs for Dungkar. Continue on this road for approximately 20 kilometers. Look for the sign indicating Dungkar Nagtshang; there will be a turn-off to the right. Follow this smaller road for about 5 kilometers until you reach Dungkar Nagtshang. The roads may be narrow and winding, so drive cautiously.
Public Transportation
For those relying on public transportation, start from Lhuntse town and look for a local taxi or a shared taxi going towards Dungkar. Ensure to confirm with the driver that they will drop you off at Dungkar Nagtshang. The fare should be around 300-500 Ngultrum, depending on the number of passengers. The journey may take about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Dungkar, it is a short walk to Dungkar Nagtshang, which is well-signposted.
Walking
If you are close enough to Dungkar Nagtshang and prefer to walk, you can do so from the nearby village of Dungkar. The walk is about 1-2 kilometers and takes approximately 30 minutes. Just follow the path leading toward the hill; signs will guide you to the site. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as the terrain can be uneven.
