Getting There

From the center of Mongar town, head west on the main road towards the direction of the Trongsa Dzong. Walk approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction near the local market. At the junction, take a left turn to follow the signposts pointing towards Trongsa. Continue on this road for about 2 kilometers until you see signs that indicate you are entering Trongsa. Once in Trongsa, follow the signs to Trongsa Dzong, which is located on a hill overlooking the town. The walk will take you approximately 30-40 minutes.
