    Getting There

    Walking

    If you are starting from the Paro Dzong, head east along the main street of Paro Town. After about 10 minutes of walking, you will reach a fork in the road. Take the left path that leads toward the river. Continue walking for another 5 minutes until you reach the bridge over the Paro Chhu River. Cross the bridge and turn left immediately after crossing. Rinpung Dzong will be visible up the hill on your right. Follow the path leading uphill, and you will arrive at the entrance of Rinpung Dzong.

    Walking

    If you are at Paro International Airport, exit the airport and turn left to head towards Paro Town. The walk is approximately 20 minutes. Continue straight until you reach the main street. Turn right onto the main street and keep walking for another 15 minutes. You will eventually see Rinpung Dzong on your left as you approach the town center. Follow the signs leading to the Dzong, which will guide you up the hill.

    Walking

    From the Paro market, head southeast along the main road towards the river. After about 10 minutes, you will come to a bridge. Cross the bridge and turn right. Walk along the riverside path for about 5 minutes, keeping the river to your left. You will see Rinpung Dzong rising prominently on the hill to your right. Follow the path that leads uphill toward the Dzong. The entrance is located at the top of the path.
