Getting There

From the center of Paro, head towards the Paro Dzong (Rinpung Dzong). Once you reach the Dzong, continue walking along the main road towards the Paro Airport. After approximately 1.5 km, you will reach the airport area. Continue past the airport towards the Bondey-Haa Highway. This will take you to the Chele La road. Follow the Chele La road for about 30 km. The trail leads you through beautiful landscapes and forested areas. As you ascend, keep an eye out for signs directing you to the View Point and Shed, Chele La, which will be on your left. The hike takes about 6-8 hours, so make sure to start early in the day.

If you have a bicycle, you can rent one in Paro. Start from the center of Paro and head towards the Paro Dzong. Follow the same route as outlined for walking towards the airport. After passing the airport, turn onto the Bondey-Haa Highway and continue to follow this road for approximately 30 km. The ride will be challenging but rewarding, with stunning views along the way.
