Car
From Pemagatshel, head east on the main road towards the Tang Valley. The journey takes about 1.5 to 2 hours depending on road conditions. Follow the signs for Tang Valley; you will pass through beautiful landscapes and small villages. As you enter Tang Valley, you will see a sign for Ogyen Choling. Turn left and follow the road until you reach the Ogyen Choling Museum and Heritage Site, located at JV6Q+XWH.
Public Transportation
Take a local bus or shared taxi from Pemagatshel to Tang Valley. The bus station is located in the center of Pemagatshel. Buses run several times a day, but it is advisable to check the schedule in advance. The fare is typically around 50-100 Ngultrum. Once you arrive in Tang Valley, you may need to hire a taxi or walk the remaining distance to Ogyen Choling, which is about 5 km from the main road. Walking will take approximately 1 hour.

If you are already in Tang Valley, walking to Ogyen Choling is an option. From the village center, follow the path that leads you up the hill towards the museum. The walk is approximately 1 hour and offers stunning views of the valley.
